Ryan Kahn and Quinn Kahn are the Founders and Portfolio Managers of Dyad Capital (“Dyad”), a fundamental, research-driven investment manager focused on value-oriented special situations and underfollowed opportunities across public markets.

Dyad employs a concentrated, long-term investment approach centered on identifying businesses where fundamental value, improving operating performance, and identifiable catalysts create the potential for asymmetric returns. We view Dyad as a vehicle for long-term compounding and invest with the same discipline, patience, and focus on downside protection that we apply to our own capital.

Investment Philosophy

We invest in undervalued businesses where we believe the market is mispricing future earnings power, free cash flow generation, or the durability of the underlying business.

Dyad seeks companies trading at a meaningful discount to our assessment of intrinsic value, with an emphasis on durable business models, strong or improving free cash flow, disciplined capital allocation, aligned management teams, and identifiable pathways for value realization.

Our strategy is concentrated in high-conviction ideas developed through bottom-up fundamental research. We are particularly attracted to situations where revenue growth, free cash flow, and earnings power are improving simultaneously while the market continues to value a business based on its past rather than its future.

These opportunities may arise from corporate transformations, misunderstood assets, industry dislocations, strategic changes, improving capital allocation, temporary controversy, or structurally advantaged businesses that remain underappreciated by investors.
